@metstrade exposition visit of The World Marine Power Directory team

on 14-15-16 November 2017 The World Marine Power Directory team has attended the METS TRADE exposition and renewed exisiting contacts as well has made new contacts. Especiallyrenewing the existing contacts was a great pleasure. Additionally we had contact with the @METSTRADE organizer to explore cooperation for next years exposition.

The World Marine Power Directory on the @EUROPORT Exhibition - Rotterdam - Maritime Technology

The last two days we have been on the EUROPORT exhibition in the AHOY Rotterdam. Excellent place to renew and make new contacts. We discussed our website with many engine producers like Yanmar, MAN Wartsila, MTU, CUMMINS etc. and all are very impressed with the depth and fast amount of The World Marine Power Directory website information. Todday we will have an interview for an article in the Dutch newspaper "Binnenvaart krant". Keith Henderson and I (Peter Tetteroo) will go there. Will let you know when it is published. Improvements to communication with The World Marine Power Directory websitw

Improvements to Directory web site made in Sept. and Oct. 2017

In the last couple of months we have made some comprehensive changes to our website:

1. We have added an encryption certificate to our web site- instead of HTTP it has become HTTPS. This means that all communication that you have with the website is encrypted and is not seen by anyone else.
2. We have changed the URL from htttps://www.theworldmarinepowerdirectory.com into https://www.twmpd.com .
3. We have created a TWITTER account at @TWMPD2017 were we post regularly updates and interesting information regarding the maritime world.
